Get ready for a spectacular evening of fun, community, and colorful skies! The Hot Air Balloon Glo Festival is back and will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the BCE and BCI School Grounds located at 1035 W Round Bunch Rd. in Bridge City. This family-friendly festival promises an unforgettable experience with activities for all ages.
Festival Highlights Include:
- Hot Air Balloon Glo – Watch the night sky light up as 10 hot air balloons illuminate the festival grounds at 8:15 PM or dark.
- Tethered Balloon Rides – Take a ride from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM ($25 cash only).
- Glo Golf Cart Parade – Starting at 9:00 PM, enjoy the whimsical parade of glowing golf carts. Parade applications are available at the Bridge City Chamber, Saving Grace Christian Boutique, and Kidz World or by emailing director@bridgecitycoc.com.
- Live Music Performances – Enjoy the sounds of local talent starting with the Jamie Nichols Band at 6:00 PM followed by Running on Credit Band at 7:00 PM.
- Featured Performances – Catch special performances from OHS Sophisticats, Tiger Rock Martial Arts, and BC Strutters starting at 5:15 PM.
- Arts & Crafts and Food Vendors – Explore a variety of vendors from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
- Free Kids Zone – Bounce houses, obstacle courses, and slides will keep the kids entertained from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
- Petting Zoo and Costume Characters – Enjoy a free petting zoo and meet friendly costume characters from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
- Face Painting – Available for just $3 per person.
Admission to the event is $10 per person, and children 6 and under get in free. With a wide range of activities and entertainment, the Hot Air Balloon Glo Festival is the perfect event for the whole family to enjoy.
