Experience the beauty of nature up close at Shangri La Botanical Gardens & Nature Center with the return of Bird Watching Wednesdays throughout April! Whether you’re a seasoned birder or just beginning, this relaxed, guided program is designed for all skill levels.

Join Michaela Layman, Interpretive Programs Coordinator, and Robert Morgan, Wildlife Educator/Animal Curator, as they lead participants on exploring the best birding spots within the Gardens. Discover the fascinating variety of resident and migratory birds that call Shangri La Gardens home.

Bird Watching Wednesdays Details

📅 Dates: April 9th, 16th, 23rd, & 30th
⏰ Time: 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
📍 Location: Shangri La Botanical Gardens & Nature Center

Participants will enjoy a 1-1.5 mile hike over uneven terrain while observing various bird species. Feel free to bring your birding gear or borrow binoculars provided by the Gardens.

Please note: This program is intended for adults ages 18 and older.
