Exciting changes are underway in Vidor as Bealls, the beloved department store, officially announces its return to the community with a new location at 880 N. Main Street, the former site of Brookshire Brothers. The new store is set to open its doors to the public in April 2026.
Construction is already in progress on the transformed shopping center, bringing renewed energy and retail opportunities to one of Vidor’s most prominent commercial corridors. The project, led by The Joe Aref Group, marks a significant investment in the city’s retail landscape.
The newly designed Bealls store will offer a modern shopping experience while continuing to deliver the value and selection that customers have come to expect. The remainder of the center’s retail space is also in development, with additional tenant announcements expected in the coming weeks.
