Bridge City Independent School District (BCISD) has selected a new Bridge City Elementary Principal, Mr. Jason Yeaman.
Jason Yeaman is an accomplished educational leader with a strong background in school administration. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, which he earned in December 2006. Jason continued his education at Lamar University, completing his master’s in educational administration in May 2011. He further expanded his qualifications by obtaining a Superintendent Certification from Lamar University in December 2021.
Jason’s work experience reflects his dedication to improving the educational experience for students and fostering a positive learning environment. Since 2018, he has served as the Junior High Principal at Little Cypress Mauriceville CISD. Prior to his current position, Jason served as the Middle School Principal at Vidor ISD from 2015 to 2018. From 2013 to 2015, Jason served as the High School Assistant Principal at Little Cypress Mauriceville CISD. Prior to his tenure at Little Cypress Mauriceville CISD, Jason served as the Junior High Assistant Principal at Orangefield ISD
Throughout his career, Jason has been recognized for his outstanding contributions to education. In 2018, he received the Texas Association of Secondary School Principal of the Year award for Region 5. He was also nominated for the National Life Group Life Changer of the Year award in 2015. Jason’s commitment to professional development is evident through his memberships in organizations such as the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals and the Texas Association of School Administrators. He is also associated with Marquis Who’s Who for his contributions to school improvement in administration.
