ABC Treat Shoppe has recently opened at 3515 Mockingbird St., Suite C in Orange. This sweet shop is owned and operated by Maria Alfred and her three daughters Aubree, Bailee, and Chloee. They started baking and selling out of their home and are now work and sell in their shop. With a passion for baking and creating treats, every item is made from scratch and with lots of love and creativity.
According to Best Bites founder Hettie Brown, “I was fortunate to try their banana pudding cupcakes and their red velvet cookie that is piped with Nutella in the middle. Yum-Yum! The cupcakes were moist and the inside had a filling of banana cream. An old-fashioned favorite modernized in a handy-to-hold cupcake. The banana pudding icing is not too sweet, just right with a dollop of frosting on top, then crowned with a crisp vanilla waffle. Double Yum! The extra-large cookie was just as good. They are huge cookies, enough to share, but you won’t want to. Their red velvet cookie is soft and moist. The cookie is not too sweet which is a big plus because you will then bite into a creamy center filled with Nutella.”
