Guided Tours Resume at The W.H. Stark House

The W.H. Stark House is pleased to announce the return of Guided Tours, beginning March 5. Visitors can now explore this remarkable 1894 Queen Anne home on Wednesdays, Fridays and select Saturdays. Each tour, lasting approximately one hour, offers an immersive experience into the history and grandeur of the Stark family residence.

Guided Tours provide small groups of up to eight guests the rare opportunity to visit all three floors of the fully restored, 14,000-square-foot home. Guests will explore all 15 rooms and the beautifully maintained grounds while learning about the extraordinary lives of Miriam Lutcher and William Henry Stark.

A true architectural and historical gem, The W.H. Stark House was home to the Stark family from 1894 to 1936. Considered an American lumber dynasty family, the Starks incorporated exquisite woodwork into their home, showcasing local craftsmanship and ingenuity. Designed with innovative technology for its time, the house is furnished with fine art, rare books and treasures collected from their travels, offering visitors a glimpse into the family’s legacy.
