The Heritage House Museum of Orange County is thrilled to announce the return of its popular 8th Annual Historic Ghost Walk, scheduled for Saturday, October 26, 2024. This spooky event, proudly sponsored by Ferguson Law Firm, invites visitors to experience the rich history of Orange, Texas, through eerie, true-life tales brought to life by students from four Orange County school districts.
This year’s Ghost Walk will offer two unique experiences:
- Family-Friendly Tours: Tours run every 10 minutes from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., which is ideal for younger audiences and families looking for a historical yet light-hearted experience.
- Fright Night Tours: For those seeking a more thrilling adventure, the Fright Night tours will depart every 10 minutes from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and offer spine-chilling tales in the darker hours.
Additionally, attendees can enjoy live music and food trucks from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., creating a festive atmosphere between the walking tours.
The Ghost Walk is a half-mile stroll through downtown Orange, rain or shine, where history meets the supernatural. Tickets are priced at $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12. Pre-sale tickets can be purchased on-site at the museum on Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and Thursdays from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
“We’re excited to bring back this community favorite event where history truly comes to life,” said a spokesperson from the Heritage House Museum. “It’s a wonderful way to engage with local history while getting into the Halloween spirit.”
Mark your calendars and prepare for an evening of historical haunts you won’t want to miss.
