The 25th annual Community Trash-Off is scheduled for Saturday, February 22, 2020, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the City of Orange Boat Ramp, located on Simmons Drive in Orange, Texas. This year’s Community Trash-Off is presented by INVISTA and hosted by Shangri La Botanical Gardens and Nature Center in collaboration with the City of Orange and Keep Orange County Beautiful.
Orange County residents are encouraged to take pride in the community and help clean up trash from area neighborhoods and waterways. Keep Orange County Beautiful will be accepting old tires from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Gather your team to help clean the streets and waterways of the Orange, West Orange and Pinehurst communities. For participants, lunch is provided.
Teams will consist of 3-5 volunteers and will be assigned to an area to clean up. Clean-up stations are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Groups are encouraged to sign up early. On the day of the event, team leaders can pick up supplies at the park for use at their assigned clean-up sites. Call 409.670.9113 for more details.
