The Vidor Public Library is thrilled to announce a special Storytime event featuring Tia Johnson, Morning Anchor for 12News Daybreak. The event will take place on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the library, located at 440 E Bolivar St.
Tia Johnson, known for her dedication to literacy and children, is excited to connect with young readers and promote the joy of reading and her passion for literacy. Her goal is to inspire children to see that reading can be both educational and fun, fostering a lifelong love of books and learning.
In addition to this event, Tia is actively involved in the ROAR Program with the Beaumont Independent School District (BISD), where she visits classrooms to read and engage with students. Through her efforts, she continues to highlight the importance of literacy and the role local libraries play in enriching lives.
